Our love story

Mauricio and my relationship started as a workplace romance. We met in 2014 while he was temporarily filling in for another role within my department. I was always the shy type so it took quite a bit of persistence from Mauricio to finally get me to accept his invitation and go on a date to the movies. It was all worth it in the end, as here we are now married! Our relationship blossomed beautifully over the years and we hit many milestones together including travelling, building our family home and welcoming our very own frenchie, Koko into our world!

The wedding venue & styling

Our wedding ceremony was held at St Ignatius Catholic Church in Richmond. We have always loved this church for its architecture and warmth.

Our reception was held at Greenfields in Albert Park. We fell in love with this venue after a charity event that we attended. The white framed floor to ceiling windows surrounded by lush greenery and Melbournes city in the back drop, styled with fairy lights, white roses with touches of blush and pops of gold, and lastly lots of candles was really fitting for the romantic vibe we were going for.

The Dress

From the day I started the dress shopping journey, I always knew I would want a square neckline dress, with a low back and fitting to my body and this is exactly what Cassandra delivered.

From my first consultation with Cassandra to the day I picked up my dress, I can honestly say that the experience was amazing, seamless and transparent.

I’ll never forget my first appointment with Cassandra, she pulled out the Monica gown, it was jaw dropping to say the least and as she was putting it away to bring out another design, my best friend and I quietly whispered to each other “that’s 100% the one” haha it was love at first sight!

Cassandra was very welcoming when it came to customising the gown, as I wanted thicker straps and a lower back. Besides the dress, Cassandra was always willing and kind enough to help with my whole look/vision and she would send me links for earrings, shoes, you name it! I am so appreciative and grateful for all the help, care, attention to detail and passion to deliver the perfect wedding dress.

I felt amazing in my dress on my wedding day and my husband was absolutely blown away! I actually didn’t want to take the dress off!
